Newton's Theory of Gravity is Wrong, Scientists Warn Einstein May Be Next!

The apple that fell on Newton's head had a lot of people cursing through ages. Guess someone finally listened to all their wishes, and it's ultimately gonna change. Recent heartwarming research puts Newton's law of gravity and Einstein's relativity at earth -shattering risk. So what's the theory that made this all happen? The research involved mapping out the light from S0-2, a star located near the black hole Sagittarius A*. Have heard that name before? Yep, that's the black hole at the center of our galaxy! So coming over to technical points, the star is known to have mass 10 times that of our sun. But what makes this star special? Well, this was the only star which made a complete orbit in all 3 dimensions, enabling researchers to perform multiple tests within a short span of time and resources. Not only that but it orbits the black hole within 16 years, much smaller when you compare to other objects on the cosmological scale. Now that's where things start to get weird.

Being at such a threshold point, the light's data deviates from what Newton's law predicts it to be. As the conventional law states, gravity should be inversely dependent upon the distance between the two bodies, which clearly did not. Why did that happen? The sole reason responsible for this is the black hole's gravity which the star is orbiting. The intense gravity curves space in such a way that it no longer remains normal. Einstein's theory is still surviving, as it relies on explaining gravity as an innate property of space-time rather than a force which newton described.

So as for now, newton's theory is out of the game while Einstein surviving with a bit of luck. As we all know, a good theory must comply with all the test it is put to? Well, relativity still can't explain how gravity behaves within a black hole. So sooner or later, it's gonna be ultimately ruled out. What comes next is the bigger challenge. Perhaps a mad scientist discovering the Theory of Everything? Nah, not without the combined efforts of every physicist in the world, at least for a few decades to come.
